Anyone else notice that we actually have a zero-pointer in the bunch? The mini crab cakes are actually just under 1/2 a point, which rounds down to zero. :)

Frequently Asked Questions

What are WW Points and how do they work?

WW Points, previously known as Weight Watchers Points, are a system used to help individuals track their food intake and manage their weight. Each food item is assigned a point value based on its nutritional content, including calories, fat, and fiber. The goal is to encourage healthier eating habits by making individuals more aware of what they consume.

How were WW Points updated for Fall 2009?

In Fall 2009, Weight Watchers introduced an updated points system that emphasized a more balanced approach to eating. The new system focused on whole foods, encouraging members to choose fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins while reducing processed foods. This update aimed to make it easier for members to understand the nutritional value of their food choices.

Can I still use the old WW Points system?

While the updated WW Points system is recommended for current members, some individuals may still choose to use the old points system if they find it more suitable for their needs. However, it's important to note that the program's resources and support will primarily focus on the new system.

How do I calculate my daily WW Points allowance?

Your daily WW Points allowance is determined by several factors, including your age, gender, weight, height, and activity level. Weight Watchers provides tools and resources, such as a points calculator, to help you determine your personalized points target based on these factors.

Where can I find resources for the updated WW Points system?

Resources for the updated WW Points system can be found on the official Weight Watchers website, through their mobile app, and in their meeting materials. Additionally, many cookbooks and online forums provide recipes and tips that align with the new points system, making it easier to find suitable meal options.
