Besides the fact that I only had one active consultant (and another that just submitted her first show on January 4th, since she signed in June), don't have the traveling $$ right now. But I will be there for Conference!! There are a couple directors in my "cluster" that are going, and we have our monthly meeting on January 14th, so I won't have to wait long for the announcements!

I already anticipate problems at checkout, depending on what credit card DH uses this week. The same days that I'll be at Leadership, he'll be in Atlanta for car club meeting. Charges from 2 different non-home locations will be a red flag for the cc company.

Did you want me to add you to my phone list, KG? Or do you just want to call in to my conference call? (I'm the only person from my Director's cluster who is going, so I organized a conference call on Friday night.)

My hubby's company just gave him wireless and he can call from anywhere! That is really cool! Shoot I am such a tight arse that there is no way in Heck I would pay for internet! Do you have internet on your phone? That's another idea! My hubby is buying me a cool new phone for my birthday next month and it will have me fully hooked up! I love technology! DH has an internet-capable phone, I don't. Of course, he doesn't have a data plan, so it only works where there's wi-fi. Which is what I'll need to connect with my MacBook.

hmm... maybe I'll walk up to the tech guys with my MacBook and beg for a Mac version of P3. I wonder if they can be bribed with homemade cookies?

Conference dates are on Consultant's Corner. You can ask for the time off now! That's what I do - use vacation time for it.

I work for my dad & that means I have no "for sure" time off. If my back up falls through I'm stuck changing my plans....it sucks!!! I have 3 people who can fill in for me & all 3 seem to have things going on when I want a day off. I work 6days a week & I HATE IT!!! So, my wish is that PC takes off big & I can quit working for my dad. But you have to remember I have a company car...so no car pmt, no ins pmt & an almost $1400 house pmt. I'm hoping my show at the end of this month helps me get more bookings b/c I don't have a big group of friends & I work alone. I am trying to get up the nerve to go next door to a highend furniture store & tell them about my PC but I'm afraid of the owners not being happy with me doing that. I'm a shy person when it comes to people I don't know unless it has to deal with something I know well.....such as our business. Make sense???

I have to agree with Ann. I stepped out of my comfort zone and was able to get another booking for February. You will be so proud of yourself when you step out of the zone and someone says yes! :chef:
