I've looked in the all of the "files" and downloads, but I am not finding anything about a "Penny" flyer I saw once upon a time. It had 3 options for using your penny. One was I think spend a penny (buying products), save a penny (book a show) and then invest a penny (start your business). It had a giant penny as the background and it was very clever. Anyone know what I'm referring to?

I've heard about that too, never seen a flyer on it though.

The way I heard it, the consultant gave each guest a penny and told them about the 3 ways to use it. I was thinking about doing that at one of my shows.

I think hers went something like:

Spend the penny: If your order is $100 or more tonight you can trade the penny for free shipping.

Save the penny: Book a show and I'll bring the recipe ingredients and you'll get lot's of host rewards.

Invest the penny: I forget what the saying here was, but something about starting the biz

Maybe someone else will post and tell us.

This was from a Recruiting Tip of the Day email a while ago:

"Cyndi Fontaine Slaughter, a Texas Consultant, uses this fun way of informing her guests about the business opportunity with The Pampered Chef:

I give each arriving guest a shiny new penny and tell them just to hang on to it through the Show. At the end of the Show, I say:

“Remember the penny I gave you when you came in? This is what it signifies. With The Pampered Chef you have three choices: You can spend money tonight and order your favorite products, you can save money by hosting a Show of your own, or you can start your own business and earn money as a Pampered Chef Consultant!”

Cyndi reports that the penny gets guests' attention at the beginning of the Show, and by the end they're asking what it's for!

Take action! Use this fun activity to help inform guests at your next five Shows. Be sure to follow up personally with each one as they check out. Ask them if they're interested in saving money or earning money with The Pampered Chef!
