to get new customer base? I have a very small customer base. I am hoping my party in April will lead to new customers. I have to get the lady to pin down a date. I plan on doing that friday when I take her order to her. I live in a small community and have not been here long. I am trying to think of ways of drumming up more business.

For me, it was a matter of making it very clear that I was willing to travel a ways to do shows. I live in a rural area, so building a customer base for me required setting a fairly large sales area.

I also make sure in host coaching to try to get people to think outside the box when they invite. This widens the circle of contacts.

Hope it helps.

As Rae said, make sure people know that you are willing to travel (if you are). I had someone ask me in the middle of a show once if I would drive the distance to her house. It was so cute!

Ask for referrals. Something that worked for me was saying something like, "Well, I certainly understand a crazy schedule! But, I am sooo close to this incentive... can you think of anyone who loves to entertain, who might be interested inhosting a show?" I have actually gotten a few this way.
