Good job on detoxing - you can do it Rhonda! If you need to be crabby, or anything - just come here!

pampchefrhondab said:Thanks Becky - I have been very crabby, but starting to feel better! According to what I've read I'm only suppose to feel bad for 4 days, but I think it's going to take me longer then that! Oh how I loved my Diet Mt. Dew!
I've just been having a lot of joint pain lately and trying to see if getting off the artificial sweetner will help. My Dr. thinks it's arthritis, but I wanted to try this first before I see a specialist.
Thanks for letting me come here and not be in such a good mood - I've at least not attacked anyone yet:thumbup:!
The highlight of my trip to China was definitely visiting the Great Wall. It was an incredible experience to see such a historic and monumental landmark in person.
Yes, I tried many new and delicious foods while in China. Some of my favorites were Peking duck, dumplings, and hot pot.
The weather was quite chilly during my trip, as it was winter in China. However, I was prepared with warm layers and it didn't hinder my enjoyment of the trip at all.
I did encounter some language barriers, but most people I encountered were able to communicate with me in basic English. I also made sure to learn a few basic phrases in Mandarin to help me get by.
My favorite souvenir from China is a beautiful hand-painted fan that I purchased at a local market. It's a unique and practical reminder of my trip.
