Did it work, I'd be afraid the grinder would misshapen or clog...

and since I just replaced mine that broke, it wouldn't be worth me finding out!!! I've used the food chopper before and it works just fine!

I tried chopping peppermints with my Food Chopper once. It completely ruined it! The chopping blade is all jagged now. I ended up buying a new food chopper and just save the old one for peppermints.

I'd be nervous using the FC or the grinders for peppermints. They are such a hard candy.

Sounds like a job for the Meat Tenderizer :D

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the Pampered Chef grinder for peppermints?

To use the Pampered Chef grinder for peppermints, simply remove the top cap and fill the chamber with your desired amount of peppermint candies. Replace the cap securely and twist the grinder to begin grinding. Adjust the grind size by turning the knob on the bottom to achieve your preferred coarseness.

Can I grind other types of candies in the grinder?

Yes, the Pampered Chef grinder is versatile and can be used to grind other types of hard candies as well. Just ensure that the candies are similar in hardness to peppermints to avoid damaging the grinder.

How do I clean the grinder after using it for peppermints?

To clean the grinder, first, empty any remaining candy from the chamber. Then, use a dry cloth or a small brush to remove any residue. Avoid using water or soap, as this can damage the grinder's mechanism. For a deeper clean, you can disassemble the grinder according to the manufacturer's instructions.
