Beloved friends-
The message below is from a fellow Mentor at Setting Captives Free, Cristi Ludwig. Please include the Burrell family in your prayers - not only as comfort for the family, but also that God's power and grace will be made evident through the miraculous healing of this yet-unborn baby girl. Please also feel free to forward the message to your address list, so we can have as many prayer warriors as possible praying for Savannah Grace.

In His Grace and Love-

I am reaching out to ask for prayer for a very close friend of mine and her
husband.

Darin and Christina Burrell are an awesome couple who found out around 4
months ago that they were expecting their second child. These 4 months have
been very trying for Christina as this has been a very difficult pregnancy.
They were referred to see a specialist a couple of weeks ago and learned
that their baby girl who Christina is carrying has a chromosome abnormality
call Triploidy. There is no cure for triplody, and there is a no chance of
survival for this baby girl. Most babies die in the womb. Some babies live
until birth, then pass on shortly thereafter. There are complications that
are compromising Christina's health as well. Triplody causes cysts to grow
on the placenta and on the mother's ovaries. These have been found in
Christina's case, and are causing her a lot of pain. In addition, triplody
causes the mother to develop preeclampsia- a pregnancy condition that causes
very high blood pressure and other health risks. Christina has recently
been diagnosed with this condition as well.

Darin and Christina recently went to a maternal-fetal specialist who
recommended that she terminate the pregnancy. Darin and Christina have
decided not to make this decision. They will wait for the Lord to take
their daughter.

They have named their unborn daughter Savannah Grace, which means Abundant
Grace. Christina is wearing a "prayer pager" (1-956-213-3039) that is being
sponsored by Calvary Baptist Church in McAllen, Texas.

Please take a minute out of your day to say a prayer for the Burrell family
(Savannah Grace, Christina, Darin, and big brother Jaythan). Please pray
that little Savannah Grace will develop properly, for mommy's health, and
that mommy and daddy will experience a peace that surpasses all
understanding, and then call the number (1-956-213-3039). It will vibrate
letting them know that someone has prayed on their behalf. Also remember
their doctors, asking for God's guiding hand and wisdom as they care for
Savannah Grace and Christina.

The pager has a factory set greeting message that says, "Please leave a
message after the tone." However, instead of inputting your telephone
number, input the numbers 733 followed by the # symbol, which is a special
code meaning "Praying for you." (The digits "733" represent the number of
letters in each word.)

Please call...it just takes a second or two! What an awesome blessing and
encouragement it will be for the Burrell's every time they get a "buzz".
They covet and truly appreciate your prayers. Please pass this message
along to all of your family and friends so that it will have a greater
circulation and this family will be covered in prayer at all times.

The Burrell's created a CaringBridge site to keep everyone up to date on
Savannah Grace. CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization that helps friends
and families stay connected. You can visit Savannah Grace's CaringBridge
site at <http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/savannahgraceburrell>

Thanks for your prayers and God Bless.

Love in Christ,

Cristi Ludwig

I will certainly pray for them and their little Savannah! I can't imagine how hard this is...and may become in the future for them.

I pray that the Lord will touch and heal this little one in HIS name for HIS glory! And that Mom's health would be restored...as well as each of them in the family to feel God's love all around them and lifting them up through this time.

I love the pager idea! What an awesome way to show the family just how many people are praying for them!

I will pray for little Savannah Grace to be healed in God's name. Also for Christina to have peace with what God has planned for her life, as well as Darin, and big brother Jaythan.
I agree the pager idea is wonderful, and will help with calming some of the anxiety mom and dad may be facing.
I also pray no one else will ever have to be faced with this situation ever again.

Someone I prayed for years ago had one of these pagers. Can you imagine how awesome these sweet parents feel when the vibrator goes off to know someone is praying? God can work miracles. I will pray that He gives one in Savannah Grace's case!

I sent this out to my Prayers Warriors email list as well!

It takes a lot of courage and faith to trust in God's plan and I admire your friends for their decision to wait for Him to take their daughter. I will also share this message with my address list, so that we can have as many prayer warriors as possible lifting up the Burrell family. Thank you for reaching out and for being a source of love and support for your friends. May God's grace and love surround them during this challenging journey.
