michellefedi said:We are stationed in England and I have already had several customers state that they will never order from Pampered Chef again b/c of the shipping prices. It is sad b/c one person even stated that she felt they were discriminating against military families b/c we have to live overseas...They felt Pampered Chef should be more supportive of military families.

I do wish the company would share their 'stats' regarding the amount of money lost due to shipping overseas. It would help to have that info handy at shows.
I've attached a copy of the outside order form I use since it addresses the new surcharge.
Non-contiguous states refer to states that are not physically connected to the mainland United States, such as Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping costs to these states are typically higher due to the additional logistics involved in transporting goods over longer distances and through different modes of transportation, such as air freight or ferries.
Shipping costs have increased due to a combination of factors, including rising fuel prices, increased demand for shipping services, and supply chain disruptions. These factors have led carriers to adjust their pricing structures, which affects the overall shipping costs for customers in non-contiguous states.
While shipping costs are often determined by carriers, customers can reduce costs by ordering in bulk to spread the shipping fee over more items. Additionally, keeping an eye out for promotions or discounts offered by Pampered Chef can help minimize shipping expenses.
Pampered Chef may provide specific shipping options or promotions for customers in non-contiguous states. It's advisable to check their official website or contact customer service for any available shipping solutions or discounts tailored for these regions.
You can track your order by using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email. This will allow you to monitor the status of your shipment, including any potential delays that may occur due to the longer shipping routes associated with non-contiguous states.
