Consultants in Southern California are facing challenges in securing bookings, with some experiencing low follow-through rates from potential clients. Suggestions for improvement include completing online courses focused on booking strategies and enhancing invitation techniques. It's emphasized that simply informing potential clients about services is not enough; active invitations to host parties are crucial. While virtual parties can be effective, many still find in-person events yield better results. Engaging with clients more personally may lead to increased success in booking consultations.

Welcome Joann. I too do not get that many bookings and when I do many do not follow through. Lots of excuses. I have never done any virtual parties; don't feel ready. I'm sorry I don't have any great advice.
I have a couple of suggestions. First, do all of the online courses, especially those dealing with bookings. Second, make sure you're inviting, not just informing. There's a story about a woman who bakes cookies and goes around telling all of her neighbors about the cookies. No one comes over to try them. She didn't invite them; she just told them about the cookies. Are you telling people about the specials, open dates, etc., or are you asking them if they would like to host a party? I've done successful virtual parties, but live parties are always better for me.
