In shipping show tohost, does it HAVE TO be shipped to a home, or can it be shipped to a business? My host wants the show shipped to where her husband work's, because he is a shipping manager, and it can be received, rather than leaving it on her porch. Is that ok?

Yes. Just make sure her home address is in the main screen, and then click on "special shipping" and ship it to her, c/o her husband at his business.Just make sure it's not added to contact management and double check the address it is being shipped to after you balance the show, before you submit it!

You can ship it there. I just enter it in the contact info and do not even put the different one in the special shipping. Most of my host I contact at work anyway.

And I have most of my personal PC stuff sent to my business instead of my home.

My hosts don't like things left on their porchs so they ask me to have it shipped to me..... so I have it shipped to my work in care of me.. I dont' have to do anything with specail shipping either.

Since FedExc delivers on Saturday, I wouldn't do it unless the business is open then.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between shipping to a host's home versus their business?

Shipping to a host's home typically allows for more flexibility in receiving packages, as they can be home to accept deliveries. In contrast, shipping to a business may require adherence to specific delivery hours and could involve additional procedures for package acceptance, depending on the company's policies.

Are there any advantages to shipping to a host's business?

Yes, shipping to a business can sometimes offer advantages such as a more secure delivery environment, especially if the business has a dedicated receiving area. Additionally, if the host works in a location with a large number of employees, it may provide greater visibility for the Pampered Chef products, potentially leading to more sales opportunities.

What should I consider when choosing between home or business shipping for my host?

Consider factors such as the host's availability to receive packages, the reliability of the business's receiving process, and any potential delays due to business hours. Additionally, assess whether the host has a preference for one option over the other based on their schedule and convenience.

How can I ensure timely delivery when shipping to a host's business?

To ensure timely delivery, confirm the business's receiving hours and any specific instructions for package delivery. It's also helpful to communicate with the host to ensure they are aware of the shipment and can follow up with their workplace if necessary.

What tips do you have for managing shipping logistics for hosts?

Keep clear communication with your host regarding their shipping preferences and any potential issues that may arise. Utilize tracking services to monitor the shipment's progress and provide updates to the host. Additionally, plan ahead for any busy seasons or holidays that may affect shipping times.
