When I try to post (as consultant)in an event I have on my page I cannot get to the event page. When I click it just shows the swirly thing like it is going to the page. When I go to the event as myself it goes right away and I can make a post. Never had this problem before and just started a couple days ago. I've always been able to pot on the events as consultant. Thank you to anyone that can help me with this.

bummer, I guess no one can help me....
now when I make a post in the event page it says I am posting as the consultant, but the image is me as myself!

Do you think it's better to have these set up as events on your business page, or have the host get it started as an event on their profile and then they add you as an administrator? (Is that even an option if you aren't FB friends?)

The reason I ask is because I was wondering if other people who like my FB page would be turned off by seeing all the posts in regards to someone's FB party. KWIM?

I've only done a couple of FB parties so far, but I set it up from my personal page. I gave info for my business page. I play a points game and gave people points for "liking" my business page. I post different things on a FB show than on my business FB page that I would only want guests to see. Both parties closed around $300

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Facebook-only parties and how do they work?

Facebook-only parties are virtual gatherings hosted on Facebook where consultants showcase products, share recipes, and engage with guests through posts, comments, and live videos. Participants can browse, ask questions, and place orders directly through the event page, making it a convenient way to shop from home.

How can I promote my Facebook-only party effectively?

To promote your Facebook-only party, create an event page and invite friends, family, and potential customers. Use eye-catching graphics and engaging posts to generate excitement. Share reminders leading up to the event and consider offering incentives, such as giveaways or exclusive discounts, to encourage participation.

What types of content should I share during the party?

During the party, share a mix of engaging content, including product demonstrations, recipe ideas, customer testimonials, and interactive polls or quizzes. Live cooking demonstrations can be particularly effective, as they showcase the products in action and allow for real-time interaction with guests.

How can I keep guests engaged throughout the Facebook-only party?

To keep guests engaged, encourage interaction by asking questions, prompting discussions, and responding to comments promptly. Incorporate fun activities like contests or challenges, and consider using Facebook Live to create a dynamic experience. Regularly remind guests of any limited-time offers or promotions to maintain interest.

What should I do after the Facebook-only party ends?

After the party, follow up with guests by thanking them for attending and sharing a recap of the event. Send personalized messages to those who showed interest in specific products and provide them with ordering information. Additionally, consider gathering feedback to improve future parties and maintain connections with your guests.
