wasn't sure where to put this. I have a lady coming today to pick up an auction item. I'm giving her a $15 gc and a set of four stoneware plates...
My question is, what is the value on the plates? I got them in a conference grab box and my director thinks they were a consultant incentive several years back. Anyone know anything about them?

I've seen them on ebay. You could call HO and find out for sure though.

If you donate items that are discountinued or from the outlet what value do you give the item? Would you list it at its original price? Also the gc you are giving, is it only with you?

yes, the gc is only thru me... i found it on here... it's got a great little blurb at the top about using it to apply towards hosting or just for an order. It's my new standard raffle/doorprize at vendor events and boutiques. I usually do it for $15 and include a flyer with upcoming specials and a mini catalog. If they're looking for something a little higher dollar, I add a product to it from my conference box stash. I always try to list discontinued and outlet products at retail value... that's what they'd have been worth if they'd paid full price for them.
Congrats on the little guy... i was reading your other post. I have a 2 1/2 month old, but stopped nursing before I went back to pc. I agree, just let your guests know you've got to keep it short to get home to nurse... if they don't understand, I wouldn't want them as a customer anyway! Another thought, you could try putting an 'end' time on your invites... that would give people a window and it wouldn't be a big shocker when you start packing up!

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. I'm happy to hear that you are giving your customer a gift certificate and some stoneware plates as a thank you for picking up the auction item. As for the value of the plates, it's difficult to determine without knowing the specific set you have. However, if they were a consultant incentive several years back, they could potentially hold some value as they may no longer be available. I suggest checking with your director or reaching out to our customer service team for more information on the plates. They may be able to provide you with more details on the set and its value. Thank you for being a loyal pampered chef consultant and for going above and beyond for your customers. Have a great day!
