Jw, since we pay for this each month, has anyone ever needed to use the insurance for a mishap?

Yep! I was using a host's microwave and broke the turntable plate. They sent her money to replace it. Which was awesome since a new one was something like $35!

Crazy, I had no idea what it was for?

My director dropped the DCB on a flat top stove, the microwave was atop it. They had the flat top fixed.

I remember someone posting that the heels on her shoes scratched up the host's floor, and HO paid to fix that, too.

I've heard about someone dropping something on a host's expensive tile floor and HO paid to fix that.

twice- kicked over red wine on a grey carpet...HO paid for cleaning

And host spilled a dish of swedish meat balls all over the carpet

They paid for a host's mess up? Pretty good!

technically yes- but really not -it was not the host's' mess

my feeling was that the accident never would have happened if I were not there- and besides the host was furious. so it ended good since she got the carpet cleaned

Wow! Crazy stories! Now, the next question... was it a long, painful process to get them to pay for all of these insurance claims?

Nope, Amy, pretty simple process. VERY friendly person helped me and had it wrapped up pretty quickly.

I do understand that! Just shocked that they were okay with fixing it since the host dropped it.

I'm glad to hear that it wasn't much of a hassle. Wadesgirl, I'm just as shocked as you!

Me too! I accidentally grabbed the Rectangular Baker out of the oven and did not quite have it with the oven pad. I burned my hand and dropped the baker on a stone tile floor. It cracked about three tiles. The mess was fixed in about two weeks. She even was able to call the guys who installed the floor so it was a complete match. You can not tell at all it ever happened. Short and sweet!
