I am going to be making the brownie pops, from last year's holiday recipe, for a Halloween party this weekend. When I was looking at the recipe it said to use the medium sheet pan. I do not have this. I do have the large bar pan. Do you think I could use that instead? Should I do a double batch in the bar pan or stick with a single? Would it be better to do a 9x13? Let me know your thoughts and any tips to make these go smoothly. Thanks in advance!

If you are going to use the large, then I would double the brownies or else they will be too thin & you won't be able to scoop them out. Do you have the medium bar pan, then that would be regular....HTH

Unfortunately I do not have the medium bar pan either. I will just double the brownie batch. Thanks!

Yeah, and who cares if you have leftover brownies! I always like those kind of leftovers!

Someone last year in my cluster made these in the mini muffin tin and she said they were SO much easier to do vs. scooping the brownies out and getting them to stay together in a ball.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best pan size for making brownie pops?

The ideal pan size for making brownie pops is typically an 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch square pan. These sizes allow for even baking and the right thickness for cutting into bite-sized pieces suitable for pops.

Can I use a different pan size for brownie pops?

Yes, you can use different pan sizes, but keep in mind that the baking time may vary. If you use a larger pan, the brownies will be thinner and may bake faster, while a smaller pan will result in thicker brownies that may take longer to bake.

What tips can I follow to ensure my brownie pops turn out perfectly?

To ensure perfect brownie pops, make sure to line your pan with parchment paper for easy removal, avoid overmixing the batter, and check for doneness a few minutes before the recommended baking time. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting and inserting sticks.

How can I decorate brownie pops for a Halloween party?

You can decorate brownie pops for Halloween by dipping them in melted chocolate or candy melts and then adding festive toppings like sprinkles, crushed cookies, or edible glitter. Using themed decorations like candy eyes or Halloween-themed wrappers can also enhance their appearance.

Can I make brownie pops ahead of time for my Halloween party?

Absolutely! You can make brownie pops a day or two in advance. Just store them in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator. If you've decorated them with chocolate, it's best to keep them in a cool place to maintain their appearance.
