"We have finished processing your passport, and it has been mailed to you.

You requested delivery by regular mail. Passport Agencies use Priority Mail. This means you should receive your passport on or about 04/29/2007."

Oy - nothing like waiting til the last minute!!
 
That has to be a little nerve racking! Yikes!
 
But think what great fun you'll have telling this part of the story. Years from now, of course.

Recently did my passportRenewal for myself and new ones for my husband and son, and I'll tell you, the day they tell you online IS the exact day you'll receive it. At least that was true for us.
 
Oh gosh... Im so glad that THIS didnt happen to you. My husband is driving 8 hours on Monday to (hopefully/maybe/cant guarantee) get his passport. We leave Tuesday morning. Maybe. :(

I got a doorhanger notice from Fed Ex last night saying they'd tried to deliver seomthign that required a signature (PC stuff they just drop & run) and then another one this morning saying I had to pick the package up after 4pm at their loaation 20 minutes away - - I am wondering if it's my passport?
I'll let ya'll know around 4:45.
