Being new, I don't understand quite how the HWC products work. Does money get donated to breast cancer only if one of those 3 pink items are purchased? And the host special items for May, can those be purchased as well?
 
$1 from the sale of each of the 3 guest products goes to HWC. $1 from the sale of each host special goes to HWC. As always, the host is the only one who can purchase the host special.

On a fundraiser, though, $$ is given to HWC rather than free/discounted products to the host.

But is there a way for the guests to purchase the items if they like them for full price? Those bowls are cute!
 
No---same as any other host special! They have to host to get it. Have them do a catalog show! It only takes $150 in product orders to get it.
 
The guest specials are available to anyone placing an order in May. They can purchase as many as they want of each. The host specials (pink bowl trio or SA set) are only available to hosts. Each and every HWC item and host special purchased results in a $1 donation to the ACS.

The guests can purchase the rectangle platter and/or the woven rectangle tray at full price, but not the pink trio bowls - that's host-only.
