This is my first post here. I am new to PC, doing a shower in a few weeks, not sure what to do for recipe. It is going to be a really small shower, and I have a hard time with the idea of taking away from it being her day, not mine. I thought it would be fun to make a veggie pizza, but I was told she is not a cook at all, it would be kind of fun, to have her get all of the veggies ready, and make her the center of attention. I could still do the whole demo, but, I thought involving her a little more would make her a little more enthused about getting more product. Suggestions?????

that sounds good. Don't forget to play up the tools that she can use even as a non-cook: can opener, Simple Additions (for serving store-bought items), etc.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your first post and your upcoming shower. I think it's great that you want to make the shower about the guest of honor and not yourself. I also love the idea of involving her in the food preparation. It's a great way to make her feel special and included in the celebration. As for the veggie pizza, it sounds like a delicious and healthy option. Maybe you can also add some other finger foods or appetizers that are easy for her to prepare and won't take away from her enjoyment of the shower. Some suggestions could be fruit skewers, mini sandwiches, or a build-your-own salad bar. Just make sure to keep it simple and stress-free for her. Good luck with the shower!
