I am doing a multl-vendor event including PC, Avon, Home Interiors, Tastefully Simple and Lady Sophia. I am looking for a clever name to call this such event which will be held in March. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Simple Indulgence
Simplify and Indulge?

...trying to think of something for you that encompasses all...

Each gives us something simpler or easier in life and indulges us...

You don't want to use "direct sales" or "multi-vendor" because those scare people...it is a form of a "party" or "home party" but "party" scares off a crowd too...

...o.k. sorry, thinking "aloud" or in text for you... ...others - help?

How about Lifestyle Show, Lifestyle Fair, Home & Lifestyle Fair.

I agree with Janetupnorth by avoiding "multi-vendor", "direct selling", etc.

Thanks everyone so far, great ideas. I agree also with the vendor, direct sales too. Keep them coming, I am up for some more great ideas!!!!!

How about Spring Fling?

I like the Spring Fling idea, or Spring Shopping Event/Fair (I like Spring Fling better!) Consider making it a fundraiser somehow, whether $1 admission or canned food drive or something, and then you might be able to get your local paper to write an article!

Yeah, this is actually our third year doing this, we previously used Spring Fling, so we may just stick with that. We have treated the event as a fundraiser in the past, where the local tv stations let you air the ad on the web and tv, so that works. We are going to put an ad in the local neighborhood newsletters too in the local towns. Thanks for the good advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some creative name ideas for a multi-vendor event in March?

Consider names that play off the themes of spring and renewal, such as "March Marketplace Madness," "Spring Fling Vendor Fair," or "March into Spring Expo." You could also use alliteration for a catchy effect, like "March Merchants Meet-Up" or "Marching Towards Spring Showcase."

How can I incorporate a seasonal theme into the event name?

Incorporating a seasonal theme can be done by using words that evoke the feeling of spring, such as "Bloom," "Blossom," or "Awakening." For example, "Spring Blossom Bazaar" or "Awakening Arts & Crafts Fair" can create a vibrant image that attracts attendees.

Should the event name reflect the types of vendors participating?

Yes, reflecting the types of vendors can help attract the right audience. If you have food vendors, you might consider names like "Taste of Spring Vendor Festival." If it's more arts and crafts, something like "Crafting Spring Showcase" could work well.

How important is it to have a unique name for the event?

A unique name is crucial as it helps your event stand out in marketing materials and social media. A catchy and memorable name can generate interest and encourage people to attend, making it easier to promote your event effectively.

Can I use a pun or play on words in the event name?

Absolutely! Puns and wordplay can make your event name more engaging and fun. Consider names like "Marching Orders: A Vendor Showcase" or "Spring into Savings: Multi-Vendor Event." These playful names can attract attention and create a light-hearted atmosphere.
