I told her I did not think so. Doesn't it go to our Director? She has not decided yet but has been having to spend the $200 on her own to stay active. She admits she is just not "working" the business and just has too much going on now. She has a recruit who signed a few months ago. Our Director is in NC and she was wondering if she could "give" me her recruit so she would have local support. I told her I did not think so. I know when our recruiter quit we went to the Director's line.

I wish though! B/c I am about to sign my first "active" recruit and would love to have two! My very first one turned out to be a kitnapper!

Nope. If she "retires", her downline goes to the closest director. If her recruit hadn't signed up yet, then she could. However, you can still give her recruit the local support!

Even tho she can't give you her recruit, she can give you her contact list.

Thanks. This is what I thought. I am definitely going to ask for the contact list!

Her downline/recruits will actually go to the person who recruited HER (the one who is quitting) if that person is active.
It sounds like in your case that will be your director.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Kitnapper and an Active Member in Pampered Chef?

A Kitnapper is someone who joins Pampered Chef primarily to purchase the starter kit at a discounted price, without the intention of actively selling or building a business. An Active Member, on the other hand, is someone who engages in selling products, hosting parties, and actively participating in the business to earn income and grow their team.

How can I encourage my first recruit to become an Active Member instead of a Kitnapper?

To encourage your first recruit to become an Active Member, provide them with clear information about the benefits of being active, such as earning commissions, bonuses, and personal growth opportunities. Share success stories, offer support and training, and help them set achievable goals to build their confidence in starting their business.

What should I do if my recruit shows signs of being a Kitnapper?

If your recruit shows signs of being a Kitnapper, have an open conversation with them about their goals and motivations. Ask if they have any concerns or questions about the business. Offer to provide resources, training, and support to help them see the potential benefits of becoming an Active Member. Ultimately, respect their choice and provide encouragement regardless of their decision.

Can a Kitnapper become an Active Member later on?

Yes, a Kitnapper can become an Active Member at any time. If they decide to engage more with the business, they can start hosting parties, selling products, and participating in team activities. It's important to maintain communication and support them in their journey if they choose to become more active.

What resources are available to help my recruit transition from a Kitnapper to an Active Member?

Pampered Chef offers a variety of resources to help recruits transition, including training webinars, online courses, and access to a supportive community of consultants. Encourage your recruit to participate in team meetings, utilize the Pampered Chef website for training materials, and connect with other Active Members for mentorship and motivation.
