so i went to my frg meeting last night and ended up staying for the clean up. got to talking with a few of our key volunteers and ended up with 2-3 potential hosts. well, one of those hosts is also interested in the opportunity. i got her info and offered to get it to her asap. now, from our conversation last night i know she has dec/ jan time frame maybe even as late as next spring in mind for signing. i don't want to scare her off with being too aggressive, but i was going to put the info in about the current special and offer to go over things with her more. i'm still in my first 90, so i'm nervous about possibly having a recruit but excited as well. i just want to make sure i don't let her get away from me just because i'm nervous... any advice on how to approach it from here?

that's not aggressive...it's letting her know that we are having a special now in case she can reconsider her timeframes. If you put it that way, she probably won't feel pressured at all.

Good luck!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an FRG meeting and how can it help in recruiting leads?

An FRG (Field Recognition Group) meeting is a gathering of direct sales consultants where they share best practices, celebrate achievements, and provide training on various aspects of the business, including recruitment strategies. Attending an FRG meeting can help you learn effective techniques for attracting potential recruits, networking with other consultants, and gaining insights from experienced leaders in the field.

What are some effective tips for maximizing recruit leads at an FRG meeting?

To maximize recruit leads at an FRG meeting, consider the following tips: actively engage with attendees, share your personal success stories, ask open-ended questions to spark conversations, bring promotional materials to share, and follow up with potential leads after the meeting to maintain the connection.

How can I prepare for my first FRG meeting to ensure I make valuable connections?

Preparation is key for making valuable connections at your first FRG meeting. Research the agenda and speakers in advance, prepare a brief introduction about yourself and your business, bring business cards, and set specific goals for what you want to achieve, such as meeting a certain number of new contacts or gathering specific information about recruitment strategies.

What should I do if I feel shy or nervous about networking at the meeting?

Feeling shy or nervous is common, especially at your first FRG meeting. To overcome this, practice your introduction beforehand, focus on listening and asking questions rather than feeling pressured to speak, and remember that everyone is there to connect and support each other. Setting small, achievable goals for interactions can also help build your confidence.

How can I follow up with leads after the FRG meeting?

Following up with leads after the FRG meeting is crucial for maintaining interest. Send a personalized email or message thanking them for their time, referencing specific conversations you had, and inviting them to learn more about your business or join a future event. Keep the communication friendly and open-ended to encourage further dialogue.
