WOndering if anyone has the name tag and if you get any leads from it. I'm thinking pretty hard about it since I'm taking my business to the next level this season...

Thanks for your help!

I would say to invest in a shirt or catalog tote bag, the name tag seems a little too formal to wear out and about.

I agree. I have the name tag only for shows. The shirts and catalog tote has been great.

I have one and I LOVE it! I thought about getting a shirt first but with a name tag you can put it on different shirts and such.

What do you mean by gettgin leads from waeing the name tag? I wear my Merrill name tag at shows...but would not wear it out and about. I had a guest at my show last week who was wearing her Avon name tag AT my PC show...it was rather obnoxious. Other guests were asking me "Is she trying to sell her Avon stuff at your PC show??"

I find that wearing logo-wear, carrying the catalog-tote, etc...those are GREAT ways to get some exposure (although, so is, taking your clothes off...but well...I guess it all depends upon the type of exposure you'r elooking for ;))

I wore my TPC shirt to a Tupperware party and yes, I did get an order out of it. :)

I have the merrill name tag and love it because it is magnetic (no holes in my shirts) - but I only wear it at fairs and shows with my Pampered Chef shirts. It is nice at fairs especially when I am away from my table and people call me by name - I know they noticed it and it is helpful because I don't always remember to tell people my name at fairs. Plus at shows if someone forgets my name it saves them the awkwardness of asking again after we've been introduced.

PS - I find the writing on the Merrill name tag WAYYY too small.

Too small? Nah, I think you're just getting old.

I just got one, and it arrived in the mail yesterday. Not planning on wearing it ALL the time, but since I don't wear logowear to shows (my apron basically covers the logo anyway) I bought the magnetic pin to wear on my way TO the show (I usually stop off at OfficeMax for photocopies, the grocery store for anything last minute stuff, etc.). I just figure I can keep it in my purse and put it on whenever I think I might get some use out of it.

The logo on most golf shirts can be seen under the apron, unless you wear your apron up around your shoulders. But I still wear the name tag......with the lettering that's too small.

I wear my nametag at shows and fairs. When I'm out and about, I have my ribbon tote, my logo wear, the decal on my car....If you want to take your business to the next level, a nametag ain't gonna do it. You have to set some work hours and focus on making phone calls.
