Addie4TLC said:I have gotten invitations to join reunion and facebook but always stop when it asks me to list my contacts there. I don't want them to get harassed. I think on one of them you give them permission to get contacts from your address book if I'm not mistaken.
I'm curious as to how you find people or they find you.
chefbritt said:With facebook you shouldn't have to list contacts or anything like that. There is a search box where you can type in names of people you know. You can also search by e-mail address, hometown or school, or other information if you don't know someone's last name. All the matches found will come up and you can scroll through and find who you're looking for. Then you just hit the "Add as friend" button and it will send them a friend request. Adding friends is actually the easy part.
Addie4TLC said:Thanks for the explanation that sounds better and like something I would like to do afterall!
pamperedbecky said:Do it, do it!!! I've also gotten sucked into roulette (my absolute favorite casino game), but now I'm going to start using it as a reward when I spend "x" amount of time on organizing my office or making "x" phone calls!!!
After creating your Facebook account, the first step is to complete your profile. Add a profile picture, cover photo, and fill out your bio with relevant information about yourself. This helps friends and potential connections recognize you and understand your interests.
You can find and connect with friends by using the search bar at the top of the page. Type in their names or email addresses to locate their profiles. You can also use the 'Find Friends' feature, which suggests people you may know based on mutual friends and shared networks.
Facebook Groups are communities where users can share interests, ask questions, and connect with others. Joining groups relevant to your interests or business can help you network, gain insights, and share your expertise. Look for groups related to direct sales or Pampered Chef to maximize your experience.
To create engaging posts, focus on high-quality visuals, ask open-ended questions, and share valuable content. Use a mix of personal stories, product highlights, and tips related to your business. Engaging with your audience through comments and reactions also helps build a community around your posts.
It's important to review and adjust your privacy settings to control who can see your posts and personal information. Go to the 'Settings & Privacy' section, then 'Settings,' and navigate to 'Privacy' to customize who can view your profile, posts, and friend list. This ensures your account is secure while you build your network.
