I read on a thread somewhere that you can do one giant apple (or choc. chip, or plain) pancake in the bar pan. It said to bake at 375 for 15 min or so....but not how much batter to use! Does anyone know the measurement? (I'm not good at eyeballing it until I do it at least once, so I know what my eyeball should be seeing....LOL)

TIA!

? Bar pan? the original recipe (on a cover of a catalog in the late 90's) was for one in the Deep Dish Baker.

It's a very simple mixture, like 2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup flour or something...someone?

I use the pancake mix equivalent of 12 pancakes. It fits fine and cooks very quickly in the LBP for about 10 min, I believe.

I found a recipe for 2 C bisquick, 2 eggs, and 1 C milk. I didn't have bisquick, so used 2 C pancake batter instead, and the amount worked out well. I'll try the bisquick next time though.

Yum.. sounds good. thanks for the info

Pancakes the easy way
2 cups bisquick
2 eggs
1 cup milk
Pour batter into bar pan and bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
Cut into squares with Pizza Cutter and add your favorite toppings.
Use the Apple Peeler Corer Slicer to top the batter with perfect thin apple slices and you will have WONDERFUL apple pancakes!
*(can use regular pancake mix, too!)

(p.s. I have never tried this though! - HAHA - so I am not guaranteeing anything! :) )
