Even with half a million dollars left to them and budgeted right, it is kind of short-sighted to not continue to keep fundraising and build the funds up and help more people!

This phrase typically indicates that someone is unable to participate in a specific event or opportunity, often related to direct sales or summer promotions. It suggests that the individual may have missed out on a chance to earn rewards or benefits during the summer season.
If you can't participate in summer promotions, consider staying connected through online events, social media, or by hosting a virtual party. You can also keep up with product launches and training sessions to stay informed and ready for future opportunities.
