Looking for a Convenient Hotel near Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville?

We will be traveling to Nashville over the holidays for my FIL's surgery @ Vanderbilt. Is there anyone who is familiar with this area that could recommend a hotel close to the hospital? We would like to find something like Country Inn & Suites, if possible but it's hard to tell what's close and what's not. TIA

Just a thought you could always call the hospital and ask. Some of them have hotels that they are affiliated with and might give you a discount for staying there.

I live in Nashville. http://www.vanderbilthealth.com/main/community?mode=sort&resource_sort=1 is a link to the Vanderbilt Medical page that you can look up places to stay and some have a medical rate. You can use google maps to see the distance from the hospital. I hope this helps.

I live about 2 hours away and stayed at the Holiday Inn nextdoor. It was super nice! Not sure about prices. It was a company trip...
