Director Just Back From the Riviera Maya (Cancun) Vaca!

In summary, there are many things to do in Riviera Maya, such as visiting ancient ruins, swimming in cenotes, and snorkeling in the Great Mayan Reef. The best time to visit is from December to April, and some must-try dishes include cochinita pibil and ceviche. Riviera Maya is generally safe for tourists, but it's important to take precautions. When packing for a trip, be sure to include sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable shoes, and cash for tipping and souvenirs.

We had a good time -- although we had something taken from our room and it was only sunny 3 out of the 5 days, it was nice to get away.

We won't go back to a "Secrets" resort again because of the poor response from the management (and their attitude that we were lucky they let us stay in their hotel)....the workers were amazing, though. We met some fabulous bartenders, the food was good and the food & beverage manager was fantastic.

So warm and fun!

More pics (for the foodies)! The first is a Crown of Shrimp on a bed of sweet mashed potatoes with a curry cream sauce and caviar. The second is Seared Lamb Chops. Each dinner was a 5 course meal. Presentation was amazing and the flavor was fab.All inclusive, all adult resort required men have long pants, collared shirts and closed toed shoes for dinner. Other meals required sleeved shirts and no beachwear. That was nice.
