Politics Japan News: Goodbye Earth, It Was Nice Knowing Ya ...

In summary, the Fukushima power plant is releasing a lot of radioactive material into the environment. The levels of radiation are high and are not going to go away. This is a very serious issue and we need to be careful about the environment.

Anyone have any ideas on what planet mankind can take over & destroy next? I'm not liking the news coming out of the Fukushima Power Plant. :(

Isn't the half-life of radioactive iodine like 8 minutes or something? Is it as dangerous as we fear? (I don't know the answer to that question -- it sound horribly scary to me, but I just don't really know the facts).

I am not sure the life of radioactive Iodine, but if it were only 8 mins, you would think they would not be concerned at all.

Thanks for sharing with us Sheila.

I would be worried about green fish and what not swimming away...mating with other non-green fish....and making rainbow fish!
