I am organizing a boutique for the middle of August and need some ideas. If it were closer to the holidays there are lots of ways to "label" the boutique (ie: home for the holidays...) What about if it is in August? Can't do Christmas in August!! I am just not in a creative mode and need help!

Also, can anyone attach for me flier suggestions?

Also, anyone with tips on what they did for theirs that was a success I would appreciate the advice.

Also, can you have too many vendors? Right now I only have 2 others. Should I try to get more? It will just be at my house and we do have room for a few more.

Thank you for the help!!

Signed,
Desperately needing a creative mode!

Re: Boutique??What about a Fall Festival or Summer Wrap-up? As it is at your house I would have a few recipes throughout the time period, so different people can try just out of the oven recipes. I'd try and think more but I'm not in a creative mode myself right now :)

Re: Boutique??You could call it a "Out with the Old, In with the New" and let guests order from both catalogs and just not submit the "Fall" one until Sept. 1. Or, you could call it a "Fall Preview". Or something to do with End of Summer, etc.
It's been my experience with "open houses" with multiple vendors are not as successful as those with just a few, but geographic locations could play into that as well. Good Luck!!!!

Re: Boutique??Nancy,

I am not very creative myself. How about something along the lines of "Say Goodbye to old friends and Hello to New ones!." That is all I could come up with now. Hope it helps..

Re: Boutique??We did one that we called "Fall Into Winter". It was in September, not August, but it might work. HTH.
