ok, I just signed up officially....tues...
still my password is not available when i call the PC home office..

once I get it, how can I go about placing an order to get some things..that i'd like to have for freebies/gifts at my first couple shows?

what did you all do in this situation??

heather
u will need to get a copy of the software(which comes in ur paperwork box) and do a non-commisson suppy order
OR
go into cc and the order form is there for u to print and u can fax the order in

hope im correct :)

What I did was use the Season's Best Cookbooks that came in my start up, then offered free shipping as a prize~ folks LOVED THAT!

That got me through my first three shows at least.

Once I placed a supply order it came within a week, and I'm up in Washington state.

You only get the $4 shipping on your first supply order each month, so you may want to wait and see what else you need. And if you wait a short bit, you may have earned some PC$ to use!

I bet if you call FIRST THING in the morning, your number will be available. I'd put money on it.

Isn't it frustrating waiting for the consultant number. I, too, waited until the right time to sign up and it about drove me nuts.

In P3 (Pampered Partner Plus ordering software) you will be able to purchase things like pairing knives, bamboo tongs, scrapers, orange peelers and the like at a discount.

Dont' forget to apply for your debit RIGHT away after getting your new consultant number. I hope you've already called your bank and gotten your FULL account number(14 or 15 numbers long) and FULL routing number (9 numbers long). Then, if you check for your debit card number compulsively like I did, you'll have your consultant number memerized in no time~ LOL

Also, as a new consultant you have until Aug 1st to order samples... so if for instance, you want the trifle or large platter at 50% off....??? If you earn PC$ they come pretty quickly too. I had the certificates in less than a week.

thanks!! I just tried and my consultant number isn't ready..

The automated lady asks for your SSN, then, rather than prompting something new, it just keeps asking for the SSN again..and again..making me think that I'm not in the system yet..It should be in my opinion..I will call this afternoon during naptime!

In re: to being able to order samples at 50% off until Aug 1.I am considering signing on. Is the sample purchase offer a current special or is it ongoing? I also see we could order the smaller items from pampered partner at a discount. Is that also ongoing or one time only for new consultants? I am trying to plan a Grand Opening and it is so helpful to learn these little tips prior to the big 30 day countdown! Thanks!

We get a chance to purchase samples of the new Spring or Fall product at 50% off. Most of them are in sets you can't break up, there are some open stock items too.
HTH

It tripped up and asked for my soc over and over again too, right before my number was available.

The samples are seasonal, and the current ones are only available to new consultants through Aug 1st. The other items that are available through a regualr supply order are available on an ongoing basis, though I am sure they might rotate things a little?

The other thing to be aware of is your abaility to purchase the booster pack for 36 bucks. This was awesome. There's a sheet in your binder, or that you download from consultant's corner, and has to be mailed in and it took a bit longer to arrive, almost 2 weeks to the day from when I mailed it. It was perfect timing for the arrival of moare catalogs, order forms, invites, season's bests, etc. BUT>>>> the thing to watch for is... there's a date at which time you would receive fall catalogs vs. spring.... Somethign like Aug 1st, so time that order according to your needs. It is adeal you won't want to pass up though, that's for sure. My only disappointment was that the display binder only comes with three sheet protectors and 2 display cards, so I ordered more of those on my first order.

Booking gifts...You might ask your director (recruiter). When I sign new consultants I always provide several seasons bests, a few other items such as bamboo tongs that might be an extra host gift, and a mix of door prize items. This helps them get started without having to place an order right away. I try to provide enough for the first 3-4 cooking shows.

Another way to do gifts of actual products if you do NOT have them on hand (such as season's best)...is to communicate that you are giving the host this item(s) and then add it to her host order (with her host discount) when you close the show. You would pay for the balance due on the gift. (There is a "consultant gift" option in the payment fields. The cost then becomes a trackable expense.) Just make sure you remember that the gift amount will be paid for by your PC debit when the show processes so you need to make sure your account has enough $$ to cover what isn't being deposited.

AND i just signed up for my debit card..

Talk about being productive during naptime!

Congratulations in joining a wonderful company and group here at chefsuccess. One word of advice, don't spend a ton of money before you start making money. So many go crazy and then they look at it and say I'm not making any money, because they spent too much. You get some things in your kit and you can add items to host orders as gifts until you can get more. I offer incentives for booking like an extra product if they book at the show and they get the gift added to their show ( so I get their discount) Have fun and you'll be fine, don't worry about all the extras.

Can someone explain the samples at 50% off again? I am a new consultant and could not find any info in my kit... ?

Also remember that every host your first 30 days recives either a free hot pad/trivet or the PChef hand soap. I'm pretty sure that's still going on.

There should have been a page in your kit somewhere with the spring/summer samples for you. They are mostly in groups and some open stock. You can always call or email Career Solutions dept and they'll hook you up.

BTW...i did get your PM, just haven't responded. Hopefully I'll see you Monday night and we can connect the dots then.

New Consultants--Don't forget to order the business building package of supplies. It's SOOOO worth it!

There is a page that you have to mail in. It's in your Business Binder.

I signed up in May, and this is the first I've heard of this! I went through my kit and didn't have anything like that in there, and don't recall my recruiter telling me - although she could have, I was on information overload at the time!

Are the samples available only during a certain time period from the date you sign up?

Yes. It may be only 30 days, though. You can check it out on Consultant's Corner. Go to Managing your business> Samples and Supplies> Order product Samples. In the "rules" for Spring product samples, there will be info about ordering them if you're a new consultant.Added later: I just checked, and you can order the samples for 6 weeks after the receipt of your contract.

another question? So if I sign on July 25th (sooner than I planned) Does that make me eligible to purchase Spring and fall samples? P.S. I really want the trifle bowl!
Thanks!

They are only available until August first for new consultants even if you sign up on July 30th. That's to make way for the new samples. I earned my PC dollar rewards for my first thirty days and found out about the kits ONE day after I earned my PC dollars, and TWO days before my 6 week mark (which would exclude me from using my PC dollars because they would not have arrived on time!). I found out that you can call HO and get the serial numbers. I did, and got the triffle AND round platter for the price of what one of those items would've been!!

So, Deliciousdiva - if you want to buy the S/S sample kit items you have to
do so before August 1st.

seasonal samples are on CC(Consultant's Corner) I think it's under the first tab "Managing your business" then 'samples & supplies" then 'order product samples'. Right now the samples are the new items from spring/summer. I'm new as well and didn't take advantage of them as I wanted to make a little money before spending more. If you wait another week or so they should have the new Fall/Winter products up and you'll probably want those even more :)

Congrats on your new businesses all
