INGonzalez said:Hey thanks for the info ... I am in Richmond, Virginia. It does not look like there are any events scheduled for around here. I am glad about the Tele Classes. I was born in Puerto Rico, raised in NY until the age of 14, finished school in Puerto Rico and I have lived in Virginia for the last 20 years. I am fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish - no language problem here - just really interested in what all is going on in the Hispanic Market and looking forward to learning all I can from you all.
Addie4TLC said:The focus right now is in the higher consentration of Hispanic areas like Chicago, Texas, Phoenix and California but they will get to your area especially if they know you're there and interested in growing a team. For now you can get a lot of support over the phone and with the training they provide. CS is also great for ideas, everyone here is willing to help out with ideas.

A co-worker of mine also has the name Gonzalez and is also of Puerto Rican descent!
I wish I could do more to reach out to the Latino market but alas, I didn't pay enough attention in my Spanish lessons in college ... I am sure you will do great!
Di_Can_Cook said:Yeah, but both the bilingual people I know aren't interested in the opportunity!
Being bilingual can significantly enhance your ability to connect with a diverse customer base. It allows you to communicate effectively with clients who speak different languages, expanding your reach and potential sales. Additionally, it can help you build stronger relationships with team members and customers, fostering a more inclusive environment.
You can leverage your bilingual skills by hosting cooking shows and workshops in both languages, creating marketing materials that cater to a wider audience, and engaging with customers on social media in their preferred language. This approach not only broadens your market but also makes your business more accessible to non-English speakers.
Yes, Pampered Chef provides various resources that can be helpful for bilingual consultants. You can access training materials, marketing tools, and product information in multiple languages. Additionally, connecting with other bilingual consultants can provide support and share best practices.
To attract bilingual customers, consider advertising your services in both languages through social media, local community boards, and bilingual flyers. Hosting events that cater to both language speakers and providing bilingual customer service can also help you build a loyal customer base.
