Hi All!

I know we can ask churches, schools and so on to do a fundraiser, but how do we start this? Should I call them or send them something that says we also do fundraisers?

Thanks

Aeilene

Re: QuestionI suggest calling and asking to speak with who ever is in charge of fund raising. For schools it is often the Parent's Organization.

There are a few steps you can take to start a fundraiser with a church, school, or other organization:1. Identify potential partners: Make a list of churches, schools, and other organizations in your community that may be interested in partnering with you for a fundraiser. Consider factors such as their mission, values, and target audience to determine which ones would be a good fit for your cause.2. Reach out to them: Once you have a list of potential partners, reach out to them to introduce yourself and your cause. You can call, email, or visit in person to discuss the possibility of a fundraiser. Be prepared to explain your cause and why you think it would be a good fit for their organization.3. Share your fundraising ideas: When speaking to potential partners, have some fundraising ideas in mind that you can propose to them. This could be a specific event or campaign that they can help promote and participate in.4. Provide information: It's a good idea to have some materials prepared to share with potential partners, such as a brochure or information sheet about your cause and the fundraising ideas you have in mind. This will help them understand your cause and how they can support it.5. Schedule a meeting: If the organization is interested in partnering with you, schedule a meeting to discuss the details of the fundraiser. This is a good opportunity to brainstorm ideas together and come up with a plan that works for both parties.6. Follow up: After the meeting, make sure to follow up with the organization to confirm the details of the fundraiser and discuss any next steps. Keep them updated on your progress and make sure to thank them for their support.Remember to be respectful and understanding if an organization is not able to partner with you at this time. Thank them for their time and keep them in mind for future fundraising opportunities. Good luck with your fundraiser!
