Hi everyone.

I am looking for a recipe for a Strawberry Salsa, I think it is in the old Stonewere Sensations and More cookbook, but I left that book at a customers house. From what I remember it has strawberries, oranges, kiwi and a few other fruits in it. If some one could post it I would really appreciate it!

The Mango Salsa Sundaes has a similar recipe for the salsa. I'm not sure though if that is what you are looking for. This recipe can be found in the current Season's Best.

apple berry salsa...is one of my favorites! It's in the All the Best Cookbook. It has 1 pint strawberries, 2 kiwi, 2 apples, 2 Tbs orange juice, 2 Tbs brown sugar, & 2 Tbs jelly. Peel, core, slice apples, then chop. Dice other fruit, & combine with remaining ingredients. Serve with baked cinnamon chips.
It is so good, and everyone always likes it, plus you can show off quite a few tools:D

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need for a Strawberry Salsa recipe?

For a basic Strawberry Salsa, you will need fresh strawberries, red onion, jalapeño (optional for heat), cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. You can also add diced avocado for creaminess or a touch of honey for sweetness if desired.

How do I prepare the strawberries for the salsa?

Start by washing the strawberries thoroughly. Remove the green tops and chop them into small, bite-sized pieces. It's important to keep the pieces uniform so that they mix well with the other ingredients.

Can I make Strawberry Salsa ahead of time?

Yes, you can make Strawberry Salsa ahead of time! However, it's best to prepare it no more than a few hours in advance to keep the strawberries fresh and prevent them from becoming mushy. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.

What can I serve with Strawberry Salsa?

Strawberry Salsa pairs wonderfully with tortilla chips, grilled chicken, fish tacos, or as a topping for bruschetta. It can also be used as a refreshing condiment for burgers or as a salad topping.

Can I customize the Strawberry Salsa recipe?

Absolutely! You can customize your Strawberry Salsa by adding different fruits like mango or kiwi, adjusting the level of spiciness with more or less jalapeño, or incorporating other herbs like mint for a unique flavor twist. Feel free to experiment based on your taste preferences!
