How many of you had your directors or above set up your NC arrangements. I don't even know where my cluster is staying. Hows that for building moral.

Jennie

One person booked the room, my ASD, and my director booked the flight. Did you ask what's going on? Its supposed to be a morale building event, unless they aren't going.

That is really unfortunate, I would call your director and find out...maybe they don't know you are going? My director sets up all hotel and flights for the girls that live in Vegas...she just takes care of my hotel and I take care of getting there, but I also talk to my director weekly at minimum!

Wow!! That's really nice! I spoke to my director 2 or 3 times a week (before she left the business) and she wasn't that vested in my attendance at conference. She wanted us all to attend conference, but she didn't pay for our room or flights or schedule them either. She did treat for dinner at Giordano's the first night.

However, I don't expect anything like this. I am an adult with my own business. I ought to be capable of scheduling my own flight and hotel. I can see how those niceities can help bolster a sense of comraderie and a team atmosphere though.

My director set up everything for us and even paid for airline tickets until we can get the money out of our conference club.

I will settle up with my SAD and I just gave my director a check for airfare tonight.. I probably talk to her everyday. LOL We have really become friends and sometimes PC won't even come up.

Our whole cluster -- meaning my AD and her team, her other two directiors and their teams, me and my team...we all booked our own stuff but kept in contact as to good airfare, which hotel etc. Many are rooming together.

i understandI didn't really expect her to arrange for my flight and all, but it would have been nice to have some organization so that I could have booked a hotel room where my cluster was staying rather than in a totally different hotel. Then I got an email to make sure I plan on spending some time with my cluster. How can I when I don't know where they are? grumble grumble grumble. KWIM.

That is a shame that you guys aren't more "together" with the info and arrangments.

I really feel for you, I know how it goes. My director I had asked if she could inquire if anyone wanted to try to split a room 4 ways so that maybe more people could go since not all of us can afford to quit our full-time (ughh) job and do this and make money off the recruits (we don't have) and all she replied was that was the only time she got a good night's sleep was when she went she didn't have to share a bed. Yeah, maybe you, but she didn't even offer it to anyone else. There might have been more people in her cluster go if she would have shared that option with them, since I know there are a few of them like me who can't really afford it (the only reason I can is I stashed away some of my tax refund). I am so used to sharing rooms and beds when I am away from home, I don't know what to do when I am the only one there, lol.

I had also emailed her that I was wanting to stay Saturday night also and wondered what her roommate was going to do that night since neither of us are directors and won't be going to the director's event and I am trying to get into a room with someone else since my roommate is leaving Saturday, but she didn't even respond to that, just another thing in my email.
