Find the Perfect Camcorder for Your Family this Christmas

My boyfriend's mom asked what we want for Christmas and she suggested getting a combined gift for us..and then she said..something like a camcorder. I would love a camcorder. And he has a 2 and 4 year old who will be 3 and 5 just before Christmas. He has said that he would like to get more pictures and stuff of the kids..so I was thinking that it would be nice to have a camcorder to get videos of them as well..they are at great ages.

Does anyone have a camcorder that they could suggest..I know that she would be open to suggestions so I would like to have some for her.
