I can't think of anything right off, but that theme does sound like a good idea. I use to have Tupperware parties when I was 17 years old and still living at home. I knew I would move out and live on my own awhile before getting married (which I did) and I wanted to be prepared. Let me think about it for a little while and see if I can come up with something.

Use the same principal as if it were the going off to college gifts. There are a few posts and a good handout posted on this site somewhere, you'll have to do a search. I'm not at home or I'd check to see what I've got. If I think about it, I'll look it up Monday and edit this post. Oh! One is called "Dorm Room Survival". Search for it under files!
