Discover the Best Elliptical Trainer Under $1000 for Joint Replacement Patients

Once again, I come to my group of wonderful people to survey you on Elliptical Trainers. I decided it is time to do this - I am not getting any younger or any thinner and do need to tone up the flab that Weight Watchers is leaving me with.
I know nothing about ellipticals but this has been recommended to me by my doc as I am a joint replacement patient.,,,,,,
What kind do you recommend - rear drive or front drive? and not more than $1000.00.
I know you wont let me down.

I have a rear fold up proform 490le. My knees hurt a lot and to be honest they bother me when I use the elliptical. I'm sure if I was more dedicated that might change I've had no problems with it so far. Got it in Jan. Is a space saver but to be honest it isn't the easiest to fold up. I'd suggest going to different stores and trying them out before you purchase one. Husband loves mine.
