I am attending Upper Level Academy in Dallas Oct 6-7, but not leaving until the 8th. Is there anyone in that area that can guide me on which area is safe or more desirable so I can choose a hotel nearby for the night of the 7th?

What time is your flight on the 8th? I'm only 20 min's from there in normal traffic (longer if it's rush hour). You are more than welcome to come home from the ULA with me & spend the night if you don't mind bunking in my little evacuation home with all borrowed stuff! LOL I actually have an extra twin mattress but no bed frame for it ... it would be on the floor.

it would be both of us. we're flying in & out together. we depart from love field at 11:30 am. =)
