YOur sorority does not sound like the ones at my college. First there would not be Pie served... just lots of alcohol, and I do not thing they would close it to only 3.14 and above. haha.susan g said:My sorority (Pi Phi) used to have a Pi Party for everyone who had a gpa of 3.14 or higher. Obviously, we served pie. I think it could be fun and you could show a lot of products making a pie but, are most people educated enough to know what Pi even is?? Maybe they are but I'm imagining a lot of my customers would have no idea and probably think I was a little strange!

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) to honor the mathematical constant π (pi), which represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It's a fun way to celebrate mathematics and the joy of baking, particularly with pies, as a play on the word "pi."
You can make a variety of pies to celebrate Pi Day! Popular options include classic apple pie, cherry pie, pecan pie, and chocolate cream pie. You can also get creative with savory pies like quiches or pot pies, or even experiment with unique flavors like key lime or pumpkin.
Pampered Chef offers a range of kitchen tools that can make pie-making easier and more enjoyable. Items like pie dishes, pastry cutters, rolling pins, and measuring cups can help ensure your pies turn out perfectly. Yes! Many people enjoy making themed pies for Pi Day, such as a pie that represents the number pi, like a pie with a crust decorated in the shape of the pi symbol. You can also find recipes that incorporate circular fruits or ingredients to emphasize the theme, such as a round fruit tart or a circular cheesecake.
