I have only one booking for this month and I need to find ways to get more each month. Can anyone share ideas with me? I want to make my business thrive again. I want to do 4-6 shows a month to make sure I make enough to pay my car payment plus help us out in other ways. Any suggestions please share. I appreciate it more than words can say.

The only way to get more bookings is to ask people. That means calling them or meeting them in public.

I have more added to mine....HTH :)

I go to the area businesses in my town and ask some of my good customers for orders and I can get a good show together just by doing that.

Pamper a business.ASK.

I have done better when I have used the new-ish Booking Slide. I have also done well when offering incentives for hosts....
- more free gifts from me when you have $xx before I get there, so many people show up and order, so many bookings from their show. This gives potential hosts even more reasons to say YES to a show.

FUNDRAISERS!!! They are my answer to everything, lol. Seriously- go online, open up your phone book, and start with food pantries and churches. Move on to animal shelters. Food pantries and animal shelters especially are in great need right now with the economy being the way it is.Also, try networking with other local businesses- go to flower shops and bridal shops and let them know if they will display your registry brochures and biz cards you will hand out their biz cards to your brides. Contact local realtors and see if they purchase house warming gifts for their homebuyers. Give them a list of items within ranges (i.e. $20-$30, $30-$40, $40-$50, $50 and up) that would make great thank you/house warming gifts. Also ask them to hand out your biz card with a "menu" of services to new homebuyers to welcome them to the neighborhood.
