BOO-THIB JOKE OF THE WEEK

Pastor Boodro, from New Iberia, who was a dead ringer for Conway Twitty, could no longer take all the jokes about his looks, so he decided to move away to Texas.

After arriving in Pt. Arthur Texas, he went directly to his new church where his new leadership all decided that he should go door to door to greet his new parishioners.

Walking up to the door of the first house with bible in hand, he rang the door bell, and when Mrs. Guidry, an elderly lady opened the door she exclaimed,
" It's Conway Twitty!"

But Pastor Boodro, quickly explained that he was from Louisiana and was their new pastor and that he came to introduce himself and to pray with her.

The next half a dozen houses were the same reaction.

At the last house on the street was the young Widow Thibodeaux who taking a shower when the door bell rang. She stepped out of the shower, wrapped in a towel, and went to open the door.

As she opened the door, she threw her hands up in excitement! "It's Conway Twitty!"

Boodro looked left, looked right, walked in and said,
.

.

.
.
"Hello Darlin'!

Love Conway....And Hello Darlin.:)

"

Haha, that's a good one! Pastor Boodro definitely knows how to make an entrance. I can imagine the surprise on the widow's face when she opened the door to find him there. Looks like he'll fit right in with his new parishioners in Texas. Thanks for sharing this joke, it definitely made me chuckle!
