I'm guessing I can use a bag of cookie mix and proceed as normal then bake in the bar pan? Anyone know how long to bake them in there and what temp?

I wanted to make cookies for the superbowl, but I've got so much other stuff going on I don't want to have to scoop all the cookies and bake multiple batches.

Thanks!

I would bake them, like you would on a regular baking sheet.

You mean as a bar cookie? I've wondered the same thing!

Yes, no problem creating them at bar cookies. I used a big tub of choc. chip cookie dough once, flattened it onto the LBP and they were fabulous!

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need to make bar cookies with a bag of cookie mix?

To make bar cookies using a bag of cookie mix, you'll typically need the cookie mix itself, eggs, and butter or oil as specified on the package. Some recipes may also call for additional ingredients like chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit for added flavor.

How do I prepare the cookie mix for baking bar cookies?

Start by preheating your oven to the temperature indicated on the cookie mix package. In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie mix with the required amount of eggs and softened butter or oil. Mix until well combined, then spread the dough evenly into a greased or lined baking pan.

How long should I bake bar cookies made from cookie mix?

The baking time for bar cookies can vary depending on the specific cookie mix and the thickness of the dough in the pan. Generally, you should bake them for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Can I customize my bar cookies made from cookie mix?

Absolutely! You can customize your bar cookies by adding ingredients such as chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits, or even spices like cinnamon. Just be sure not to add too many extras, as this can affect the baking time and texture.

How should I store leftover bar cookies?

To store leftover bar cookies, allow them to cool completely, then cut them into squares and place them in an airtight container. They can be kept at room temperature for a few days or in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, consider freezing them in a freezer-safe container.
