Thanks everyone for the nice welcomes! I agree it would have been nice for HO to have shed some light on the subject a little more in advance :) I'm wondering if they are a little "gun-shy" right now, after just dropping the news on us about Conference. But hey, maybe they should have done it...

Not sure about the cranberry, but I did notice in my change-over products this fall, the taupe mini-baker was a shade lighter than the taupe pie plate. They would definitely clash if I put them next to each other for serving :(

Thanks, Jennie- I was concerned I was asking too much- Am I asking too much?? I felt with as good of quality as these knives truly are, coupled with how well I cared for them, plus being recently sharpened that the price was fair. However, if I'm asking too much, I'll lower the price some...

I was able to open them. She might have saved them in a new version of word and that is why you cannot open them...

It sounds like you have the right answers to overcome objections- IMHO, you just need to be a little bold, in a kind, caring way, and say it out loud.
