Have a show coming up, with a picky Host. Wants to feature ground beef (not turkey), doesn't want Italian or Mexican flavors, or 'blah' (?) flavored recipe, and wants to feature ground beef.

Sounds like it is turmeric that stained it yellow.
Try a soaking in a mild solution of chlorine bleach and water.
Worked for mineCurry stained my 'fancy' PC ladle, it still looks greenish instead of dark brown :( Nothing seemed to help ;(
12" skillet (with lid). Once I started using it, loved it. Stays on top of the stove.

Crockpot it with SKINNED chicken parts, with all visible fat removed. Cook on low-med heat because tomato sometimes burns in the older, hotter crockpots.Tastes great! Sometimes I add more water or broth, celery and carrots, other soup veggies and turn it into a delicious soup.
My favorite chicken to use is a nice plump Kosher 'soup' chicken, or roasting hen. They are older, more flavor has developed. Huge difference in taste.As for dumplings, never ate a dumpling I didn't like. Prefer to flavor mine with poultry seasoning, but enjoy flat, fluffy, big, small, white...

It's been hot here, and the kitchen is the hottest room in the house. Put basil from my garden in the herb keeper 'flower bouquet style" on the kitchen counter.It has sprouted roots :)
