A theme show is just a regular show, with a twist. For an apple show, you could focus on the Apple wedger, and APCS. Make Apple Crisp in the microwave (easy recipe in SB from a few years ago), or a Taffy Apple Pizza then give apple facts.
Patties of what, Trudy? I would not use mine for ground beef...but I have an OLD Tupperware set that I have used for about 20 years for shaping burgers to freeze.

You do not have to belong to Sams or Costco to buy in bulk. Gordon's Food Service does not charge a fee to shop there. And their frozen chicken breasts are the best tasting frozen ones I have found.

In the old Main Dishes cookbook, there was a tamale dish that was really good. Excellent taste, easy to make, and impressive at a taco night potluck.

I used kreaser's Did You Know photos at a nurse's conference last week. Not too many people took time to read them all, but their breaks were very short. Did get positive feed back on them.
You could do the same thing; put signs around your display, and when you notice people reading them...
The one really nice thing about all those sets is that you can promote them to hosts as 1/2 price items. I haven't sold any to guests, but several to hosts.
