So I had my Fall Open House last night, and had passed out invitations to houses in my neighborhood. It went pretty well, had 8 buying guests and all except one ordered enough for the guest special. Anyways, one of the guests brought her old wooden and metal baker's roller, that looked like it was missing a piece that secures the big roller to the frame. I have no idea how long the warranty was on that product, she was like "what can you do to get it replaced?" No receipt, had no idea how long she has had it or whose party she bought it from. I looked up the warranty on the new roller (which I know has been around for at least 3 years) and saw that the warranty on that was only 3 years. I informed her that I think the warranty would have been the same as the new roller, and that it was probably out of warranty. I also don't think there are any replacement parts I could order for her either. Does anyone know how long the warranty was on that roller? For all I know, it could be 15 years old (I KNOW they had it back then, I was a customer, and always wanted it, but money was pretty tight, had to make due with a regular rolling pin since I already had one, lol).
Anyways, I offered her 10% off of a new one, or I could help her earn it free by booking a party. She didn't want to do that.
