I am a devoted fan of Alton Brown... he used his for draining potatoes before frying (because the less water on the potato, the less oil the potato will absorb)... I think he used it on his fish before flouring and battering, too.
I can't call HO right now, so does anyone know:
-- I have an order going to a business address, but it's scheduled to deliver on Saturday. I guess I can call and have it sent to my house... but do I call today or wait until Saturday morning?
-- In the future, is there anywhere in P3 to...
This is the stupidest thing ever, but someone besides me has to laugh....
I have read a hundred times on this website about a Playtex ring working on the old EAD... but until right now, I never "got" how it would work... mainly because I was not thinking of Playtex bottles (maybe no one ever...
Okay, it's done!I just got off the phone with her, and it's all settled. Thanks for your encouragement, I needed to make sure I wasn't out of line...and sometimes I get hung up on not being thought of as "pushy" so I go too far in the other direction and end up feeling taken advantage of...
Okay, I agreed to do a candle show for a girl, but only if she did a PC show in return. I did the show, had about 15 people show up, and ended up getting (seriously) hundreds of dollars worth of free candles.
Time for my show-- she does a catalog show, not very enthusiastically. I offered...
This is a late response, but I have bought and love Evert-Fresh Green Bags... they are in the produce section of the grocery store.
With greens, you wash and put them in the bag, and kind of roll it up to push out as much air as you can. They are washable and reusable, too.
Ok, I'm going to call HO... but before I do that I'm just wanting to make sure I didn't do something wrong.
I have used my paring knife maybe 5 times, total. After the last time I used it, I notices small rust marks--then when I examined it closer, there were also tiny little knicks in the...
thanks--I answered my client based on your info, so thanks so much for your prompt answers... this is a huge individual order, so I'm glad I didn't keep her waiting.
I went ahead and kept holding for Home Office, since I had already dialed... fyi the wait time was 48-63 minutes or something...
I have a client in the process of placing a web order -- a Mother's Day gift, being shipped directly to her mother -- and she does not want the receipt to go with the shipment. Does anyone know if there is a way to specify no receipt with the shipment??
Thanks so much!!
I don't know this for certain, but based on my limited knowledge of how search engines work, my guess is that PC wants to avoid having potential clients type in "Pampered Chef" at Google, only to be directed to a hundred myspace or yahoo profiles, instead of the official website (where inquiries...
That's just what I needed, thanks! I mainly want it to have with me because my extra catalogs and hostess packets look like wrecks when they've been in my car for a few days, just from getting tossed around.
It's on my next order, for sure! :)
Does anyone know how many catalogs this will carry?
Also, my host packet folders fit snugly in a 10X13 envelope-- will there be room for a couple, plus catalogs?
Thanks very much.
Tonight my husband pointed out that our catalogs refer to a skillet as a saute pan, and vice versa. I never thought about it before, but I verified it in multiple places online and in my library of cookbooks, and he is correct.
Here's one definition for skillet, which is similar to ALL the...
