Wow this is always enlightening.
This is 2009 sales
I see salad choppers are #1 I LOVE them!
As you can see your recipe will impact your sales. I basically did Chicken fajitas in 2009 for every show!
So I sold salad choppers, DCB, chipotle AND my grill basket.
I pass around my grill basket with sample size containers of the spices. So hence I sell them!

For the year of 2009, my Top Ten are:

1. Mix N Chop- 192
2. Cranberry Deep Covered Baker- 81
3. Mini Serving Spatula- 80
4. Food Chopper- 80
5. Pineapple Wedger- 70
6. Seasons Best- 70
7 Large Sheet Pan- 61
8. 1 cup prep bowls- 55
9. Kitchen Spriter- 50
10. Kernel Cutter- 47

your recipe has a HUGE impact on your top 10 sellers. You can change your business, show average and recruiting based on the recipes you demo at shows. Take a look at the average price of your top ten items (add the prices all together and divide by 10). That amount is a big indicator of what is going on with your business. You can increase your show average by moving higher priced items into your top ten sellers.

I always love looking at this. This past year my show average took a huge dive. I'm focusing on raising my average. This is my top 16 for my slow 2009, I'm working on getting that deep covered baker higher.1913 The Pampered Chef® Season's Best® Recipe Collection (Spring/Summer 2009) 25

I need to sell more regular stoneware - large and medium bar pans.

Here is mine- I think it's because all I've been requested to do is the Three Cheese Pizza, so they've been mainly buying those products:

Prep-Bowl Set-5
Microplane Adj. Grater-5

I've also sold 2 DCB's.

It looks like Mix N' Chop is near the top on everyone's lists! I though it was my top seller but the Mini-Serving Spatula has it beat.

**Funny story about the Mix N Chop..at my very first show, one of the ladies there actually BROUGHT her Mix N Chop and when I asked what the guests' favorite products were, she whipped it out her her purse and went on and on about how much she loved it! I think I sold 15 of them..and there were only 20 people there! I told her she needs to be up there selling this stuff herself! Haha

Oh my gosh! That's super funny because just the other night I was talking to one of my good friends, also a past host, and she said she keeps hers in her purse if she knows she'll be going somewhere that there will be cooking involved so she can use it!

Did you ask her if she would be interested in the business?

Where can I find the top sellers for 2009 for all items sold (not just each consultant's sales)?

Shoot...as hard/sharp as that thing is- it could be considered a deadly weapon! You should have asked her if she had her Conceal & Carry license! A good, well placed whack would serious hurt someone!

LOL @ the conceal & carry for mix n chop! Too funny! Yes, I did ask her, but she said she is too busy being a Grandma to sell (her very first grandson was just born a few months ago :) )! She did book a show though, so that's another chance to bring it up to her.

Ha! I don't think she does have a license! But she's really hilarious, she does weird stuff like that all the time. She's actually considering signing right now, so I'm going to let her come to a booth I'm doing at an expo so that I can prove to her that she CAN find bookings. That's her fear, she used to sell Signature Homestyles but it was a flop since she couldn't get bookings. To this day she feels like a failure because of it and I really want to help her get back on track. We've been friends for a long time and it's really bugging me that it weighs on her mind so much.

Well, my first reaction is "Signature what?? Never heard of it." You don't get that response very often to Pampered Chef. Occasionally, but overall...not as much.Another idea - She could also host her own cooking show (with you as the consultant) and see how many people would book a show if she were to become a consultant? That's a great way to find out! If NO one will (highly unlikely), then she had some fun and got the host benefits. If yes, then she has her answer! At least several great starting shows to qualify, earn MORE free product with PC Bucks, and hopefully bookings off of each show. (Still do the booth though! Good training)Good luck!

Good luck!

LOL, It's a DSA Company that is popular here. I think the reason it's so popular is because there is a director here who KNOWS EVERYONE and is the only 'breadwinner' in her home by selling it. She really inspires me to be as good as she is (with PC of course!)

Thanks though, I think she'll really love doing the booth. Her and a friend just cohosted a show 2 weeks ago so she's not interested in doing another until she has a grand opening show. I think if she does this, she'll sign up at the end of February so that her Grand Opening can also be a Spring Showcase show.

I'm new to The Pampered Chef and I just had a great 1st show! $710 in sales and 2 bookings! I'm curious what the current top 10 items are these days, since this thread is a little out-dated! :)
