I just got a white binder, sliced the middle part off and had 2 lapboards. You have to be very careful when you are cutting them but if you do it nice and slow you will be fine.
I put a flyer on the clear side. In the inside pocket I have different flyers but the thing I am most excited about is the tons of stickers I have on mine!!! Pampered Chef stickers that is. I have recieved tons of compliments from other DSA people, my guests, etc. I put a large Pampered Chef sticker on the side where the pocket is at, other stickers that I have purchased off of here, and then on the small front white pocket, I print up labels with all my info.
They were so much fun to make...I will see if I can take a picture of one...if anyone is interested.
The clear sleeve on the back side of the lap board is designed to hold recipe cards or other papers while you are cooking. This allows you to easily reference your recipes without having to hold them or risk getting them dirty.
Yes, you can put any papers that you need to reference while cooking in the clear sleeve. This could include grocery lists, cooking instructions, or even photos of the finished dish for inspiration.
No, the clear sleeve is not waterproof. It is made of a durable plastic material, but it is not completely waterproof. We recommend keeping it away from any liquids or spills while cooking.
The clear sleeve can typically hold 3-4 standard sized recipe cards. However, this may vary depending on the thickness of the cards and the size of the lap board.
Yes, the clear sleeve can be easily removed for cleaning. Simply slide it out of the sleeve pocket and wipe it down with a damp cloth. Make sure to let it dry completely before inserting it back into the pocket.
