What Can Replace a PC Measuring Cup in a Bridal Fair Giveaway Basket?

I made up a little basket to give away at a bridal fair. I put my PC measuring cup in it, convinced that I would never need it.

I just went to my team meeting, and they all convinced me to hang onto it.

What should I substitute? I'd be willing to order a replacement from the outlet, if you think there is a comparable product in one of the LOWER PRICED packages you think would be good.

The 2-Cup liquid one.

The basket contains other items ... but very few of them PC. Mostly dollar store things, but also some twixits, a quikut knife, season's best and other stuff. OH, and a coupon for a free cooking show.

I have a measure-all cup I've never used ... but I don't like showing my old one at shows as it's several years old and looks like it!

The pink 1 cup measure-all would have been cute. A couple of seasonings with your name and info on it (of course) would be good. If you have towels, you could put just one in it. That's always nice to add color and something useful.

I have no towels (at least not PC ones) and where would I get a pink measure-all? Is there a $20 or $30 outlet package that contains towels or some other handy item, maybe a cranberry scraper I won't be able to show?

Maybe I could toss in my Simple Additions heart dish like my leader did. Haven't drawn the winner ... she is potentially from very far away and it could be a while until she gets her basket.

I was going to ask how long you have, but it looks like the bridal show is done and you need to get something out. I wouldn't give away the cup, those are my favorite cups and I sell alot of them just by talking about them at my shows. What would you use at your shows to measuring ingredients?

You could always make a coupon for $XX amount of an order through you only. This may be better received by the recepient and would have them actually place an order with you. Do you have any of the door prize items laying around? Season's best? Recipe Cards??

I measure with the measure-all ... I've only had a handful of live shows and never had a need to measure liquid ingredients. I just assumed I could do that with measure-all too. I never thought of putting it in the microwave!Yes, the bridal fair is over ... but the winner is a potentially long way away and I plan to tell the winner, "There's a coupon in there for a free cooking show so if you'd like, I could just bring it with me then!" I had no door prize items until the day before the fair, and think I did a fair representation of the few that came in my supply order (recipe cards, quickkut knife, citrus peeler, twixits, seasons best.) Also some other items that I thought would be practical for a bride, like a planner, pen, lotion and candles. I don't think they really took note of what was in the baskets anyway. I may swap in some door prize from my previous product line.

I microwave in mine all time. Melting butter, warming up water, chocolate, etc. It's perfect for when your batter bowl is tied up with something else in it at a show.

You don't have to go overboard on the prize either. I gave away the salads cookbook once, the small round stone before, another time I gave the salads cookbook (I had two on hand and don't like them), SB and some recipe cards. When I did the small round stone it was for someone out of town so I just purchased one on the show I was doing at the time and had it shipped to them.

-recruit?
-get bookings?
-sell product?That will tell you what to do for incentives / giveaways and such.Listen to the "Meet the Public" CD on supply order, and if you want to recruit, offer incentives on the starter kit (or just POINT TO PC's awesome 3 forged cutlery for qualifying in 30 days)If you want to get bookings, point to upcoming host specials - literally. When I went to the fair, y'all were at leadership .. and I didn't KNOW about the cutlery. My kingdom for a time machine ...

I know it sounds like sacrilige, but I am not really interested in recruiting. (Dodges flying tomatoes.) If they sign up, they sign up but meanwhile ... I have a deep abiding hatred for Best Buy stemming to their non-English speaking customer service reps, but I digress.

I am just interested in getting bookings and bridal registries. And right now, all I am interested in is finding out what I can buy to put in place of the little cup. Or if I should just toss in my heart dish like my recruiter did and be done with it.
