I need your help and ideas too. I am having a Baby Shower for my sister on March 24 at 10:30am. She already had her baby about a month ago, unexpected, so everyone will want to ga ga over him. I am going to make it a bruch shower but am unsure what all to make. I also have some of the SA peices and want to incorporate those too but unsure how. Ideas would be great. Thanks

Put "baby shower" in the files search. There are some cute ideas and flyers/ideas out there.

I saw the ziploc omelet show pop up on here a few days ago, so that could be an easy demo. Just show your tools by chopping/slicing all the omelet ingredients, then display them in SA pieces and prep bowls. Everyone gets to make their own ziploc bag (one egg and their toppings) and puts their name on it. You put them all in boiling water for 13 minutes and pull them out. Empty the bag onto an outdoor entertaining plate and enjoy!

I admit, I got these off of Chef Success last year...but I'll repost for you!

edited to add the attachments! oops!!

If you are serving buffet style, use our Tool Turnabout to hold the napkins and utensils rolled into them. Tie each bundle with Blue yard or ribbon. Put a BLUE candle in the center but DO NOT light it! If you have our new Silicone Flower mold, it could be used for individual gelatin molds, on bed of boston lettuce, or for muffins. There are also Fritatta recipes for our Stoneware bar pan, that could be cut into squares or strips.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some menu ideas for a baby shower brunch?

For a delightful baby shower brunch, consider serving a mix of sweet and savory dishes. Popular options include mini quiches, fruit skewers, pancakes or waffles with various toppings, and a yogurt parfait bar. Don't forget to include a selection of pastries, such as muffins and croissants, along with a refreshing beverage station featuring mimosas, coffee, and herbal teas.

How can I decorate for a baby shower brunch?

Decorating for a baby shower brunch can be fun and creative! Use pastel colors or themes related to the baby's gender. Consider setting up a beautiful table with floral centerpieces, themed tableware, and cute signage. Balloons, banners, and a photo booth area with props can also enhance the festive atmosphere. Incorporating elements like baby blocks or stuffed animals as decor can add a personal touch.

What activities can we include during the brunch?

To keep guests entertained during the baby shower brunch, consider incorporating fun activities like a baby-themed trivia game, a diaper raffle, or a "guess the baby food" tasting challenge. You could also set up a craft station where guests can decorate onesies or create a scrapbook for the baby. These activities can help break the ice and create lasting memories.

How can I accommodate dietary restrictions at the brunch?

To accommodate dietary restrictions, it's essential to ask guests about their needs in advance. Offer a variety of dishes, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Label all food items clearly to help guests identify what they can enjoy. Including fresh salads, vegetable platters, and a selection of dips can ensure that everyone has something delicious to eat.

What party favors should I consider for a baby shower brunch?

Party favors are a lovely way to thank guests for attending the baby shower brunch. Consider giving out small items like personalized candles, mini succulents, or custom cookies decorated with baby-themed designs. You could also create a "thank you" bag with treats or practical items like hand sanitizers or lip balms. Tailoring the favors to match the theme of the shower adds a special touch.
